Road Safety Talk at George Kent

12 Nov 2013

The concessionaire of Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) or LITRAK’s continues its educational and awareness program on road safety to George Kent (M) Berhad on the 12 November 2013. The talk was given to the employee of George Kent (M) Berhad located at Jalan Dengkil, Puchong during their Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental day.

The talk is collaboration between Litrak and Automobile Association Malaysia (AAM) for the first time. Road safety tips and good vehicle maintenance was the key topic that have been shared with the audience by AAM and Litrak personnel. While it has been proven that road accidents are as a result of human error, Litrak is hoping that such small campaign like this could be an eye opener to many. Generally, the loss of lives and injuries is resulted from not adhering to traffic rules and carelessness among road users.

Later after the slide presentation, outside the George Kent office, the employees were also briefed on certain important areas in the cars that a driver should know i.e tire quality, battery water and safety triangle. The one hour talk was given in two sessions due to many employees’ working in different shift’s.

Meanwhile, Litrak has also taken the opportunity to promote the Frequents Traveler’s Program (FTP) to the employee’s of George Kent (M) Berhad.
